“ Credit Where Credit’s Due: A Family Pizza Adventure So, my family and I decided to try Tonino's after hearing it was voted Scotland’s Best Pizzeria at The Scottish Italian Awards. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to the hype. The service was okay, but we had a set time slot for pickup, and if it hadn’t been for me calling while sitting in the car to check if they accepted card payments, we wouldn’t have known our order was already waiting. By the time we got home, the pizza was cold, and at nearly £20 for ONE 16-inch pizza, it just didn’t impress. The experience overall was pretty underwhelming. The next weekend, I gave Nico’s a call to ask about their prices for 16-inch pizzas, as we needed two this time. They were much cheaper — around £12 for a plain cheese pizza, with £2 for each topping. I then called Gianni's, and they quoted me £9.50 for a plain cheese pizza, so we decided to give them a shot. From the moment I called Gianni’s, I was impressed, The staff were friendly, polite, and even told me about a meal deal option. When we went to pick up the pizza, it was scalding hot! The quality was fantastic — fresh, delicious, and the garlic dip was the perfect addition. It was such a great experience that I can confidently say Gianni's is now my go-to pizza place. Don’t fall for the hype around Tonino's it's litterally 2 for the price of one! with zero compromise on quality and taste! — Gianni’s is the real winner here! ”

“ Stepped off the Dunoon ferry, bought my tivket for Central station, it was absolutely oishing of rain and i was miserable after leaving my holiday a day early, so in the craply rain i wandered about Gourock finding a chippy to cheer me up, came across Giannis and i swear I heard an angels choir. Anyway, i normally dont get fish and chips because most fish is tasteless but i gave this place a try and i swear its the best fish and chips ive had in a VERY long time. It cheered me right up and i scranned it on the train back to glasgow, they even double bagged it for me because it was so stormy outside. The service was great, very talkative with a friendly smile. I wish i lived in gourock because i would order from you all the time. Anytime i find myself in gourock, guarentee ill be back for that fish again! ”
